WIFO's researchers also work together across the five Research Groups to make use of WIFO's broad economic know-how for research on relevant topics. This includes research on socioeconomic challenges, such as structural challenges for a small, open economy such as Austria and current issues such as in the field of digital transformation or climate change, but also research on topics that are important for evidence-based decision-making, such as business cycle analysis.
