Five Research Groups at WIFO

The scientific work of the Institute is carried out by five Research Groups, which are organised along economic disciplines, but also work on WIFO's thematic platforms across the board. Their activities are characterised by the principles of strengthening scientific creativity, promoting personal responsibility and initiative, and identification with WIFO's goals. Each Research Group consists of economists and research assistants. From among the economists, each Research Group elects a coordinator for a limited period of time.
