Ziel des Projekts ist eine differenzierte Analyse des Fördereinsatzes der Corona-Kurzarbeitsbeihilfe und eine umfangreiche
Evaluierung der damit verbundenen arbeitsmarktpolitischen, betriebs- und gesamtwirtschaftlichen Wirkung. Neben der quantitativen
Analyse ist eine qualitative Aufarbeitung der Erfahrung mit dem arbeitsmarktpolitischen Instrument wesentlicher Bestandteil
des Projekts. Sie soll Reformoptionen aufzeigen und zu einer Optimierung der Ausgestaltung der Beihilfe, der administrativen
Abwicklung und Wirksamkeit in Hinblick auf zukünftige arbeitsmarktpolitische Kriseninterventionen aufzeigen.

Evaluation of the Corona Short-time Work
The aim of the project is a differentiated analysis of the use of the Corona short-time work subsidy and a comprehensive evaluation
of the associated microeconomic and macroeconomic effects. In addition to the quantitative analysis, a qualitative review
of the experience with this labour market policy instrument is an essential part of the project. The aim is to identify options
for reform and to point out ways of optimising the design of the subsidy, its administrative handling and its effectiveness
with a view to future labour market policy crisis interventions.
