ReConstruct ist eine vom WIFO und CEPS getragene Plattform mit dem Ziel gemeinsam mit Akteur:innen aus Industrie, Politik,
Forschung und Zivilgesellschaft über die Zukunft des Bauens im Hinblick auf Klimaneutralität zu reflektieren. Dazu erfolgt
ein Austausch mit ähnlichen internationalen Aktivitäten, beispielsweise dem Projekt "Mistra Carbon Exit" in Schweden. Die
Diskussionen konzentrieren sich unter anderem auf Innovationen im Bereich der Baustoffe, Innovationen bei Bauten, Kohlenstoffrecycling
und sektorübergreifende Symbiosen. Als Gesamtperspektive wird ein integrierter Ansatz für die Wertschöpfungskette gewählt,
um den Wert von Kohlenstoff(-reduzierungen) zu ermitteln und die "grüne Prämie" zu bestimmen.

ReConstruct – Rethinking the Future of Construction
ReConstruct is a forum offered by WIFO and CEPS where stakeholders from industry, policy, research and civil society reflect
on the future of construction in light of climate neutrality. Inter alia, discussion focus on the future of materials, carbon
recycling and cross-sectoral symbioses. As an overall perspective ReConstruct takes an integrated value chain approach with
a view of providing a value to carbon (reductions) to identify the "green premium". Within the ReConstruct, there is an exchange
with similar international activities, for example the "Mistra Carbon Exit" project in Sweden.
