The Economic and Social Advisory Board

The Economic and Social Advisory Board (Beirat für Wirtschafts- und Sozialfragen) was established in 1963 as the third Sub-Committee of the Parity Commission for Wages and Prices (Paritätische Kommission für Preis- und Lohnfragen). Its history illustrates the development of economic policy advising under changing economic policy paradigms and power constellations.
