Absence from Work Report 2016. Absences Due to Sickness and Accidents in Austria

The absence from work report provides an overview of absences from work due to illness and accidents in Austria. The next edition will contain a focus on "Alcohol in the world of work". In addition to the causes, the magnitude and distribution of alcohol problems in the Austrian labour force, possible adverse effects and costs are estimated. In the final part of the report, concepts and best practive examples will be identified to address prevention of alcohol-related risks at the workplace.
