Absence from Work Report 2020. Absences Due to Sickness and Accidents in Austria

The report provides a broad overview of sick leave in Austria. In addition to the most recent sickness absence data from the social insurance institutions, the report contains in-depth analyses of patterns and long-term trends in sickness absence as well as differences between groups of employees, economic sectors and regions. In the present report, the sickness data of the Austrian social insurance institutions are evaluated up to and including 2019.
