Combination Wage Models of European Countries Compared. Conclusions for Austria

Combined wage models are wage subsidies designed to support (re-)entry into the labour market. Against this background, the project aims to show how a combined wage model can be designed in an international comparison. Good practice examples, which may also serve as a basis for future discussions on a possible adjustment of the Austrian combination wage subsidy, will be identified and their strengths and weaknesses compared to the Austrian AMS model. Current adjustments of the combined wage subsidy in the COVID-19 crisis will be taken into account.
