Tobias Scheckel, MSc

Tobias Scheckel and has been working as an economist in the Research Group "Macroeconomics and Public Finance" at WIFO since September 2023. He completed his master's degree in economics at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU Vienna) and is currently a PhD student at the University of Salzburg. His research interests center around Bayesian time series econometrics and the estimation of stochastic network models as well as their applications in macroeconomics. Before joining WIFO, Tobias Scheckel worked at WU Vienna and at the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW Berlin).
