On 15 May, 2024, WIFO economist Atanas Pekanov spoke about "Monetary policy and the distribution channel in the euro area", the topic of his recently successfully defended dissertation.
Atanas Pekanov is economist at WIFO and conducts research on monetary policy and EU economic policy. He was Deputy Prime Minister for EU Affairs in the Cabinet of Experts in Bulgaria between 2021 and 2023.
