Call for Papers: 13th FIW-Research Conferenece

Submissions on All Topics Regarding International Economics until 15 November 2020
The Research Center International Economics (FIW) is organising the 13th FIW Research Conference on 18 and 19 February 2021 and has just published a "Call for Papers". Working papers on all topics in the research field "International Economics" can be submitted until 15 November 2020.

The main objective of this conference is to provide a platform for economists to present recent research results in the field of "International Economics" and to discuss them with young researchers as well as experienced senior researchers. Papers from doctoral students, young faculty members, and young researchers in similar positions are particularly welcome, as FIW aims to support and promote young economists.

The conference also aims at bringing together researchers and policy makers to provide a forum for a discussion on how empirical evidence can more effectively inform actual economic policy making.

Due to the current global situation regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, FIW has decided to organise the next research conference as an online event. Currently, the organisational and administrative details are being developed.

The 13th FIW Research Conference "International Economics" is jointly organised by FIW, the Institute for East and Southeast European Studies (IOS) Regensburg, the University of Ljubljana, the Università di Bologna, University of Economics Bratislava, the ifo institute, ifW Kiel and the Centre for Economic and Regional Studies (KRTK, Hungary).

The FIW – Research Centre International Economics is a cooperation between the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU), the University Vienna, the Johannes Kepler University Linz and the University of Innsbruck, WIFO, wiiw and WSR. FIW is supported by the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research as well as the Federal Ministry for Digital and Economic Affairs.
