Agriculture in 1992: Losses Through Draughts and Lower Prices

1992 was a difficult year for agriculture and forestry. The value of final output declined again in all important production sectors. The greatest losses were suffered by the Burgenland and Vienna, while in Salzburg final output stagnated and even increased slightly in Tyrol and Vorarlberg. The regional pattern was mainly determined by differences in the structure of production.
