Estimation of the costs of work-related injuries and disease in Austria

The aim of the project is to provide a comprehensive estimate of the costs of illnesses and accidents caused or co-caused by work activities. The project is based on the results of a multi-year research project of the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) for a selection of countries (Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Poland and Finland). Based on the EU-OSHA calculation models, the present research project aims to determine analogous and comparable results for Austria.
