Effects of a general minimum wage in Austria

The simulations of the effects of the implementation of a general minimum wage in Austria on income, distribution and the macroeconomy are conducted for a minimum wage of 1,500 € per month, as envisaged by the federal government, and 1,700 €, as demands the Austrian Federation of Trade Unions.
