Recommendations for a Flexible Production
On behalf of the Lower Austrian Economic Chamber, Division of Metal Engineering Industry, WIFO investigated best practice approaches and solutions designed to support the division's members in responding flexibly to demand fluctuations and strengthen staff retention. The focus was on identifying instruments for working time and workplace design, for qualification and for strengthening the work culture in the company. The best-practice approaches and solutions were clearly presented with the aid of a matrix that differentiates between small and large companies.
