Back to the Future – Employment: Innovative Employment Projects for Young Minimum Security Recipients in Vienna. Report of the accompanying evaluation on conception and implementation in the period October 2016 to March 2018

Since October 2016, the measure "Back to the Future – Employment" (B2F) has been offering Viennese young people (18 to 24 years of age) with a minimum security requirement employment opportunities close to the business world and supports them in finding additional jobs. The measure is jointly financed by the Vienna Public Employment Service, the City of Vienna and the European Social Fund, is being implemented within the framework of two very differently designed projects and is provisionally limited until September 2018. The implementation of the measure took place under great time pressure, but many operational objectives were nevertheless achieved. As can be seen, however, the planned innovative elements were implemented to varying degrees.
