From 6 to 9 June, the European Union will elect its representatives to the European Parliament. The EU member countries are facing major challenges: crises, wars and conflicts, changes in the labour market such as artificial intelligence and labour shortages through to migration. The Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU) and the Austrian Society for European Politics (ÖGfE) are inviting the leading Austrian candidates to a Europa Club discussion at the WU. Gabriel Felbermayr, Professor at WU and Director of the Austrian Institute of Economic Research (WIFO), will give a keynote speech on the topics of security and prosperity in Europe before the discussion. It will be moderated by: Paul Schmidt, Secretary General of ÖGfE.
