13th FIW Research Conference

The Future of European Trade Relations after COVID-19
From 18 till 19 February 2021 the Research Centre "International Economics" (FIW) hosts the 13th FIW Research Conference. Among the highlights will be a keynote by Richard Baldwin and a panel discussion with Federal Minister Margarete Schramböck (Federal Ministry for Digital and Economic Affairs), Lisandra Flach (ifo) and Sabine Herlitschka (Infineon).

The main objective of the conference is to provide a platform for economists working in the field of "International Economics" in Austria and its neighbouring countries to present recent research as well as to discuss current policy.

Recent working papers from both young researchers – i.e. Ph.D. students, post-graduate students, young faculty members etc. – and established senior researchers will be presented during parallel sessions focusing on one topic of "International Economics".

Attendance of the FIW Research Conference is free. The conference language is English.
